We made an angel food cake this weekend at our house. And this blog post shows the traditional way to eat an angel food cake in a house that has Poyda blood in it. It drives Jon crazy. But we learned it from Dad, and my kids carry on the tradition. See above a perfectly innocent, cooling angel food cake.
But every time you walk past, you have to reach under and grab a little piece to eat. But just a little one so that nobody will notice it was gone. And as Hannah says, the crunchy pieces are the best ones. Or you can take Hannah's approach and just stand guard of the cake for yourself.
Eventuall you just flip it over and eat right out of the top of it. As a side note- you might notice that Hannah is wearing her pink tutu that she got for Christmas in 2007. It is a 2T. And I wanted to post a picture of what her little back end looks like since it is so small - but I didn't feel that it was appropriate for the internet. But it is her favorite thing to wear around the house atleast 2 days a week.

I love the crunchy stuff on top. It's the best part!!
The things you learn as a child and bring into adulthood with you. Remember the time I made an angel food cake to take to the church picnic and left for awhile and when I came home it looked like that?
